Amy Wallace

Early Childhood Special Education/UIL Coordinator/Reading Intervention

Hi! I'm Amy Wallace. This year marks my thirtieth year as a teacher. I have been in Franklin for twenty-four of those. I received my B.S. degree from Texas A&M University. WHOOP! My husband and I are proud parents of three Franklin Lions.

I have many passions here at Roland Reynolds Elementary. I am one of the Special Education teachers on our campus. As the Early Childhood Special Education teacher, I am excited to help children with various exceptionalities become successful learners. As the Reading Interventionist for PK and Kindergarten, I provide support to students on their journey to become super readers. My support includes small group instruction to students based on their individual needs and teacher mentoring. Lastly, I am the UIL coordinator for our campus. Our school is a POWERHOUSE when it comes to UIL events. We do well every Fall when competing at the UIL academic meet.
