Payton, Mrs. Cowden, Cason and Kyle. 

My name is Mrs. Cowden and this will be my 10th year teaching! I graduated from Texas A&M and am a proud, 3rd generation Aggie. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. This will be my 4th year in 3rd grade and  3rd grade is SO special. It is such a year of growth and excitement. 

I have been married to my husband Kyle for 7 years. We have 2 precious, busy children with big personalities, Cason (4) and Payton (1). Cason is in PreK and he is so excited to go to school with me!

We have 2 big dogs, named Waffle & Zeus. We love spending time outside and going on adventures as a family. 

I love getting lost in a book and discovering new people and places through reading. I hope to be able to instill that in each and every one of my students. 

I am so excited for this year! I can't wait to know each of my students special personalities and pour into each of them. We are going to learn, laugh, grow, become a class family and have fun together!
