Mrs. Reed

I love being a part of the third-grade team here at Roland Reynolds Elementary!

A little about me...I grew up in Livingston, Texas. I always loved going to school and decided I wanted to be a teacher at a very young age (and an Aggie! WHOOP!). When I graduated from high school, I moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M University and major in Early Childhood Education. Following college, my husband, Jonathan, and I remained in College Station until moving our family to Franklin in 2019. We love being a part of the Franklin community and raising our kiddos here! Our oldest, Jillian, is 14 and in ninth grade at Franklin High School. Our youngest, Jake, is 9 and is a fourth grader at Roland Reynolds. As a family, we love spending time together outdoors camping and exploring! In my downtime, I love to read, craft, decorate, and travel.

I am entering my seventeenth year of teaching this year. Prior to teaching third grade here in Franklin, I spent twelve years in College Station ISD where I taught second grade for four years and first grade for eight years.

My goal for each of my students is to foster a love for reading and to encourage and help every student reach their full potential. My students become my kids too so I look forward to working together with parents to ensure a successful third-grade year for your child.

It's a great day to be a Lion!
