Mrs. Hopkins- Resource

Welcome to my page! I'm glad you are here!

I wanted to share a little bit about myself since you will be sharing something very special with me! Your precious child! I look forward to teaching your child this year, as well as, working as a team with you! There's something special about a bond between teachers, students, and parents. I'm excited for what this year will bring!

This will be my 12th year teaching in a public school district. This is my 7th year here at Roland Reynolds and I'm blessed to be here. My first 5 years in my previous public education experience was in Temple, TX teaching first and second grade. After that, I decided to stay at home to raise my boys. However, in the meantime, I worked at The Dragonfly Creative Learning Center in Franklin.

I have 2 little boys. My oldest will start fifth grade this year and my youngest will start fourth grade. We are so excited for a new year and new adventures!

I am a graduate from The University of Mary-Hardin Baylor (Go Cru!) I also studied at McLennan Community College, as well as, Texas Women's University where I became a Reading Interventionist. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Science and an Associates Degree in Art. I am EC-4th certified, with a certification in ESL and SPED.

My goal as a teacher is to be that one person that stands out in a child's life that supports them and helps them to believe that they are somebody and can be anything they want to be!
