While we don’t have Valentine parties at RRE for Valentine’s Day, our students will have an opportunity to exchange Valentine cards and participate in an activity prepared by our RRE cafeteria staff. These activities will take place during the morning of February 12th as we will be released at 1:00.
Mark your Calendars for February 22nd from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
You’re invited to attend a Parent Forum on February 22nd that will be two-fold. We will begin with the most recent and up-coming changes to STAAR tests as well as give insight into the recent changes in Math Curriculum. There will be an opportunity to learn the “new strategies” as it’s presented in the new TEKS.
After the assembly, we will ask for input for a future discussion of the “community engagement” performance rating that our school will develop with your help. The community engagement rating is an opportunity for districts to showcase areas of excellence and success as well as recognize areas in need of improvement and set future goals valued in the community. We look forward to your input.

Important Information from Roland Reynolds Elementary School concerning bus routines.
We are fine tuning our bus routines. We ask that transportation changes be made before 2:00 to ensure accuracy. In addition, we are asking for PHYSICAL ADDRESSES when students need to be dropped off at a spot other than their routinely designated places. There may be a substitute driver on the bus and we want to be sure we are able to communicate specifically where students are to be dropped off. If you are sending a change in transportation note with your child, please include the physical address and direct your child to send that note to the office. We will make a copy for our records as well
