UIL Sign-up Oct. 6-10
RRE students will be able to sign up to participate in UIL events during the week of October 6-10. Practices will begin on October 13th. The District UIL Meet will be held at Reynolds Elementary on December 9. The writing events will be held on December 2. For more information contact: Amy Wallace, 828-7300 or email@example.com. Annual Fall Festival to be held October 10
Roland Reynolds Elementary will host its annual Fall Festival on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
All RRE Students will receive 20 Tokens (equivalence of $10). The students can pick up their FREE tokens at the Token Booth. (For non-RRE students, tokens will be available for purchase.)
The Fall Festival features: Carnival Booths, Cake Walk, Concession Stand, Costume Contest, Pizza Booth & Silent Auction. All Carnival Booths will be on the Faculty & Staff Parking lot. The Cake Walk will be in Kindergarten & 1st grade pod area. The Concession Stand, Silent Auction & Pizza Booth will be in the cafeteria.
The Concession Stand will sell Frito Pie, Nachos, Drinks and Candy. The Costume contest will be held in the gym. For more information about the costume contest click on the title of this article to download the flyer.

Drop off and Pick up Info from the Office
This is general information on morning drop-off and afternoon pickup of RRE students:
- If your student is in grades 1 – 5, please drop him/her off and pick them up in the student drop off area on Baxter Street (across from the faculty parking lot on Englewood street). For safety purposes, please be sure that children get out of the car on the sidewalk side of the vehicle.
- If your student is in grades PreK or K, please drop him/her off and pick them up in the drop off area behind the school (between the school and the large playground). If you have a PreK student and an older student, all will be dropped off and picked up in the PreK / K area. If the PreK / K car rider line extends to Perkins Street, please enter the line on Perkins away from Hwy 79.
- If your student arrives after 7:55am, please bring them to the front office. If you are later than 3:30pm picking up your student, please come to the front office.
- As there are many vehicles in car rider lines in the afternoon and visibility is not always 100% in all directions, we ask parents not to park and walk up the sidewalk to pick up their children. We appreciate your patience; please know we are working hard to facilitate this process. Safety of students is our number one priority.

FISD State Fair of Texas Art Results
Twenty-nine pieces of art work out of a total of eighty-nine entry submissions from Franklin ISD students received awards and will be on exhibition at the 2014 State Fair of Texas Creative Arts building (September 26-October 19). From RRE, awards go to:

Lion Passes for Sale
We have Lion Passes for Sale for all home athletic games. This excludes varsity football and tournaments.

FISD Football Tickets On Sale
Season tickets for the 2014 varsity season are available for purchase.
Cost is $25.00 per seat. Tickets may be purchased at the Franklin ISD Administration Building, 1216 West FM 1644 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. For questions call 979-828-1900.
**CHANGE IN SALES**
Reserved seats will no longer be sold at the gate. They can be purchased pre-season at the Administration Building or after August 30th at the High School office by 3:00pm on game day.
